ABOUT NEPAL TEA
Nepal is a country having 70 percent hills and fragile mountains where soil erosion is a big problem. It lies between 80 to 88 degree latitude and 26to 30-degree longitude. Its north south span is about 80 km. It covers 0.1 percent of total world land area, has 136 ecosystems. It ranks 25th in the world in terms of bio-diversity and has every climate zone in the world. It has suitable climate and geography for tea cultivation, more in the eastern and middle parts of the country. Warm and humid climate with plenty of rainfall and long duration sunlight is best for the effective growth of tea bushes..
